Software EXCEL® Functions A new set of functions that run in the Microsoft EXCEL® environment have recently been completed. They are now available for purchase and downloading. These functions perform the individual calculations that were incorporated into the earlier DOS programs. Click HERE to learn more about these functions. MS DOSŪ Particle Packing and Powder Processing Routines Dennis wrote and has distributed several particle packing programs that work in the DOS environment. These programs are discussed in his textbook, and they were the topics of several Ceramic Bulletin articles in the late 1980s and early 1990s when the Ceramic Bulletin Board was running: Dinger, D.R. and Funk, J.E., "Particle-Size Analysis Routines Available on CERABULL," Ceramic Bulletin, 68[8]1406-1408 (Aug, 1989). Dinger, D.R. and Funk, J.E., "Particle-Size Analysis Routines Available on CERABULL: Overview and MXENTRY Program," Ceramic Bulletin, 69[1]58-60 (Jan, 1990). Dinger, D.R., and Funk, J.E., "Particle-Size Analysis Routines Available on CERABULL: The MIX10 Program," Ceramic Bulletin, 69[2]204-206 (Feb, 1990). Dinger, D.R., and Funk, J.E., "Particle-Size Analysis Routines Available on CERABULL: The PCI Program," Ceramic Bulletin, 69[3]326-329 (Mar, 1990). Dinger, D.R., and J.E. Funk, "Version 2 of Particle Size Analysis Routines Available on CERABULL," Ceramic Bulletin, 70[4]669-670 (Apr, 1991). Another EXCEL® spreadsheet has been
written that performs Jim Funk's firing curve calculation using irreversible
and reversible dilatometry for a body. The reference for his paper is: "Designing the Optimum Firing Curve for Porcelains," J.E. Funk, Ceramic Bulletin, 61[6]632-635 (June, 1982). [Home] [Personal Info] [PPC] [Software] [Publications] [Contact] [Buy Now]
